PinkLion Selected to Exhibit at Collision Conference for Tech Startups

Global online marketplace to showcase brand in Las Vegas among other top technology startups at esteemed Collision Conference, May 5-6.

Los Angeles, CA. May 04, 2015 - Now entering year two of operations, online marketplace PinkLion has been selected to feature their brand among many of the globe’s top technology startups at this year’s Collision Conference. Designed and carefully curated for today’s modern, discerning consumer, PinkLion will showcase its brand and collection of thoughtfully designed goods on May 5th and 6th at the World Market Pavilions in Las Vegas.

In year one of operations, PinkLion has amassed more than 12,000 users and followers across its online and social properties. Created to be an international operation, PinkLion features artisans and work from all over the globe. Its co-founder, Nazma Maknojia, is excited about the upcoming opportunity for her brand. “We’re honored to have been selected to showcase PinkLion at such a prestigious event,” says Maknojia. “But of course, we’re also very proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish in such a short period of time.

PinkLion, currently in a Early Stage funding round, provides a completely curated shopping experience for its users, and every artisan featured on the site has been hand-picked or approved by PinkLion. The brand scours the globe daily for the very best examples of thoughtful, modern design in art, jewelry, men’s and women’s fashion, home decor, and technology – from exclusively independent brands – and then turns their findings over to their customers. It’s an approach that shrinks the size and scope of the Internet for its users, most of whom are already short on time, leaving only the very best work from which to choose.

PinkLion exists because Maknojia envisioned a better way for talent to find an audience. “We built PinkLion to support the growth of a global economy of independent artisans and makers,” she says. “Some may already have a huge following, others may still be looking for a break.
